Terms and conditions

****For courtesy airport transfer: Transfer from Málaga airport to Torrox will leave the airport at 12.00 on arrival day. Courtesy transport will leave Torrox for Málaga airport at 09.00 on departure day.**** For arrivals and departures outside of these times a taxi can be booked for you at 60 er taxi payable to the driver.
When you have completed and returned a Walk Andalucia booking form, you and all named persons on your booking form enter a contract with Walk Andalucia based upon Walk Andalucia advertising literature and the terms and conditions set out here – please note that making a reservation does not constitute a contract with Walk Andalucia. Walk Andalucia reserves the right to cancel a holiday if the minimum number of participants, 3 is not reached within 7 days of the start date and a full refund will be given.

The contract
By signing the booking form, you are accepting, on behalf of all named persons on the booking form, the terms and conditions of Walk Andalucia holidays. Although unusual, Walk Andalucia reserves the right to refuse any booking.

Extra days.

Once the official end date of the Walk Andalucia holiday is reached, Walk Andalucia are no longer responsible for the welfare and well being of the client.

To participate in a Walk Andalucia holiday
You must be 12 years of age or older to join a Walk Andalucia holiday. All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 who accepts responsibility for them. All persons under the age of 18 joining a Walk Andalucia holiday must have the Walk Andalucia booking form countersigned by a parent or legal guardian.

Bookings are accepted on the understanding that all persons travelling are normally in good health and able to fulfil the physical demands of the chosen holiday. Walk Andalucia Ltd must be notified of any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking, or as soon as possible should such a condition arise after the time of booking. Please do not take risks whilst on an activity holiday. In the interests of safety, you must follow the guidance in our notes, as well as that provided by anybody on our behalf; comply with any local codes of conduct, follow the Country Code and act sensibly and prudently at all times. Unsociable or violent behaviour towards other guests will not be tolerated . It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. Walk Andalucia Ltd reserves the right to exclude any person who is in breach of any or part of the above criteria. This is done at the discretion of the tour leader and no compensation or refunds will be made.

Payments
All payments are in GBP. A deposit £100 per person is required at the time of booking, payable by cheque, bank transfer or banker’s draft. The balance of your holiday is payable six weeks before the start of the holiday. All transfers, banker’s drafts and cheques are payable to Walk Andalucia Limited. If the deposit or balance of your holiday price is not paid by the specified due dates, your booking might be cancelled. Special Offers are only available at times of offer and cannot be claimed retrospectively.

Please note there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments via PayPal

Changes to your holiday
If you have to make changes:
If you need to make changes to your booking, Walk Andalucia will endeavour to satisfy your request but cannot guarantee that your changes will be possible. Any changes that are made to your booking at your request will incur a change of booking fee of £20 plus any additional costs incurred to Walk Andalucia. You must contact us by email or fax as soon as possible with any request to change your booking and confirm your request in writing.

In the event of either you or a named person on your booking form being unable to join your Walk Andalucia holiday, the place may be transferred to another person but only after:
i) A Transfer of Booking form has been completed and returned;
ii) the total holiday price on the original booking form has been paid in full, and;
iii) written permission of the transfer of place has been given by Walk Andalucia. Although unusual, Walk Andalucia reserves the right to refuse any transfer of place. Each transfer of place will incur a change of booking fee of €20 plus any additional costs incurred to Walk Andalucia.

If Walk Andalucia has to make changes:
In order to maintain your safety, enjoyment and comfort during your holiday, Walk Andalucia reserves the right to make changes to your itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. severe weather conditions. If Walk Andalucia has to make major changes to your holiday prior to your holiday start date, you will be notified of the changes in advance in writing. If you are not satisfied with the changes, you will be offered an alternative holiday or a full refund of monies paid.

Walk Andalucia reserves the right to exclude any persons from part or all of their holiday itinerary if reasonably judged by the tour leader to be: inappropriately insured; physically or mentally unfit to participate safely and responsibly, or; behaving in an inappropriate or offensive manner. In such circumstances, refunds might be made at the discretion of Walk Andalucia.

Cancellations
If you have to cancel:
If you have to cancel your booking or the place(s) of a named person(s) on your booking form, you must let us know in writing. Please contact us by email or telephone so that we can act upon your cancellation immediately, however, you must also confirm your request in writing. The following cancellation fees will apply:

40% of total holiday price
50% of total holiday price
70% of total holiday price
100% of total holiday price

You might be able to recover some or all of your cancellation costs through your personal travel
insurance.

If Walk Andalucia has to cancel:
Although unusual, Walk Andalucia reserves the right to cancel any holiday booking. If you breach the terms and conditions of your booking, Walk Andalucia might cancel your holiday and you will be subject to the same fees that would apply to you if you were to cancel your holiday (see ‘If you have to cancel’). In the unlikely event that Walk Andalucia has to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. force majeure (natural disaster, civil unrest), you will be offered an alternative walking holiday or a full refund of all monies paid.

Liability
Walk Andalucia endeavours to be a responsible holiday provider and does its utmost to ensure your safety at all times. However, you participate in a Walk Andalucia holiday at your own risk and your booking form is a waiver of liability to this effect at the start of your holiday.

Personal travel insurance
You must have adequate holiday insurance. We are unable to arrange personal travel insurance cover for you after your holiday has started. No refunds will be made should you be excluded from the walking programme through being uninsured.

Complaints
Walk Andalucia does its very best to ensure that your holiday is everything you expected it to be (and more!), and that you return home happy and satisfied with your time spent with us. However, if any problem should arise during your holiday, please inform your tour leader as soon as possible so that the problem can be resolved quickly and efficiently. We are a small family run business, your custom is very important to us and we will always do our very best to help you.
