There’s no better place to celebrate the New Year than in Spain where the New Year or "Noche Vieja" is the highlight of the year.

The Spanish dress up to the nines and women wear red knickers for good luck! Around 11.30 pm everyone in Torrox heads to the Plaza de la Constitucion armed with Cava and champagne glasses and twelve grapes. At midnight the church bells strike and you are supposed to eat one of the grapes at each chime of the bells.

After the last stroke there are fireworks and the atmosphere is fantastic with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the traditional festive food and drink and have fun with the locals!

And Malaga enjoys an average of 330 days of sun each year with an average temperature of 17.4 o C in December/January so you will be able to enjoy some sunshine as well!

Day 1 : Airport transfers; buffet dinner and New Year´s Eve Party, followed by midnight celebrations and fireworks in Torrox Main Square

Day 2 : Walk around around historic Frigiliana; dinner at Gill & Dave's finca.

Day 3: Walk above Alcaucin through pine forests, with stunning views of La Maroma  and the Sierras Tejeda and Almigara + opportunity to sample local cuisine and wine at a 9-course banquet at Maria's Cortijo

Day 3 : Walk to Upper Rio Chillar - walk through remote narrow gorge with spectacular views. Evening trip to Malaga to see the lights and have a traditional tapas meal.

Day 4 : Transfer to Airport and Adios from Walk Andalucia
